"In the time of post internet art, an understanding in pure digital media consumption/ production/ redistribution and the philosophy of object-oriented ontology is what frames my field of work. What you see is what you get is the title of my latest work of representation and recontextualisation of "objects" or "pictures" in a "picture". We are used to see "real" sculptures as pictures in the net, we rarely go there and walk around and look at a sculpture. Instead we flick through masses of pictures online every day. This work is about the question of our validation of mass and reality."

Born in Israel in 1973, Noma Bar studied graphic design and typography at the Jerusalem Academy of Art & Design. He has been based in London since 2001. —"As part of my research, I read a lot. Then I think and do a lot of sketches. I’ll never go to work on the computer unless I have ideas first. I live opposite an amazing wood in London, and you can usually find me sitting there for hours and sketching. Sometimes the icon or symbol leads me to the face, but usually it’s the other way around."—Interviewed by the New Yorker.

Adam Koford also known as Apelad is a cartoonist among other things. His flickr account is filled with wonderful sets that include different characters shaped to look like the twitter bird avatar, unique ABC's, and many cartoon characters. Inspiring content that made me think I would like to see "Marvel Superheroes designed as Iphone applications" just for fun of the it.

"The choreography was filmed from a bridge, a car drove over the MP3 player that I borrowed from a friend, just after the fifth try, this was the take that I ended up using, you can notice that I’m dancing with clenched fists, this saved time when cutting away the background, ten fingers are time consuming, two fists are okay, my sweater is blue and pants are green, both colors are not permitted when using a blue- or green-screen as a backdrop, I cut out 3975 frames manually."—source.
