Beto Garza

Beto Garza was born in 1984 in Monterrey, Mexico. He is a graphic designer and illustrator, and also one of the six designers that has been selected to participate of Digital Invaders, the school of the W Group in Saltillo, Mexico. Ivan Puig


Hasta las narices (Up to the nose), 2004.

A white wolkswagen bug has drowned in a liquid of the same color. Part of a three piece installation where in the end we discover that the car and the driver are toy figures floating in what seems to be a glass of milk. The aim is to reflect on the proportions of events and its realtivity. Haus der Kunst, Guadalajara Jl, Mx.

Born in Guadalajara, Mexico in 1977. Puig studied electronics in Guadalajara and then plastic arts in Guanajuato, Mexico. A multidisciplinary artist, his work has been exhibited in Mexico, the United States, Spain, Canada and Germany. "I jump between disciplines indiscriminately because creativity is the thread that links my work, more so than technique."
