"Kosmoz deals with notions of autism and auto-symbolisation of the self in the portrait genre. Following the visual aesthetics of early psychiatric research, characters were shaped into their selffulfilling appearance by means of digital two-dimensional sculpting. In the solo exhibition 'Kosmoz' (Breda, 2005) an accompanying installion was presented, using lenticulair animation technique."

"The choreography was filmed from a bridge, a car drove over the MP3 player that I borrowed from a friend, just after the fifth try, this was the take that I ended up using, you can notice that I’m dancing with clenched fists, this saved time when cutting away the background, ten fingers are time consuming, two fists are okay, my sweater is blue and pants are green, both colors are not permitted when using a blue- or green-screen as a backdrop, I cut out 3975 frames manually."—source.

Keiichi Tanaami
